Day services
ValePlus is open Monday to Friday, 48 weeks a year. We have bases in High Street, Barry and at Llantwit Major. We offer a variety of courses, many of them accredited. We believe in lifelong learning and purposeful activity. You can come to ValePlus for the morning, afternoon or all day. You choose the courses that you want to do. Funding is usually through Social Services, but can also be done through direct funding.
Courses available at the moment: ASDAN Towards Independence, Workright, Employability, Personal Progress and Personal and Social Development; Sensory cookery, Indoor and outdoor gardening, Budgeting, shopping and cooking; Computer skills, Numeracy, Money skills, Art and craft, Textiles, Floristry and Pottery.
